Author and illustrator Steve Antony shares four simple tools for reading aloud to children: repetition, rhythm, pause, and pictures. Drawing on his own picture books and childhood memories of libraries in New Mexico, he shows how reading aloud can become a shared, playful experience rather than a test of reading skill.
The talk was recorded as part of ”Läsfesten: Hela familjen läser”, a webinar on family reading organised by SJK Erte and streamed live on 15 September 2026. Antony filmed and edited the video himself, and it will also be available on Library Channel (Kirjastokaista).
