In September 16th 2010 Mexico celebrated their bicentennial. Sello library recognized the important holiday and invited Bernardo Rivera, a Mexican artist living in Finland to display some of his art work. His work is made by hand and specializes in painting on Amate. Amate is the old style paper made during the Aztec empire that was later replaced by European paper making methods.
