Banned Books Advent Calendar category includes the world’s first Banned Books video calendar, a project created by Entresse Library in Espoo, Finland and FAIFE (IFLA Committee on Freedom of Access to Information and Freedom of Expression). The pioneering project gathered international attention when it was produced in December of 2011. In the calendar, a banned book was presented each day until Christmas Eve.
