For the third consecutive year, the Nordic Libraries for Sustainability Network hosted a webinar to inspire, highlight, and share how libraries are contributing to a more sustainable future. This year’s theme was Sustainability in the strategic planning of libraries. We explored how Nordic libraries strengthen community sustainability through innovative strategies, and how libraries can align with global and regional manifestos to advocate for change.
The webinar also served as the kick-off for WEEK17 2026 in Europe and internationally, including insights on how WEEK17 has rapidly expanded in Central Europe.
Nordic Libraries for Sustainability Vol 3 webinar was held on November 11, 2025. The webinar was organized by the Nordic Libraries for Sustainability Network, and Library Channel (Kirjastokaista) took care of the live streaming. The language of the webinar is English.
