Author and illustrator Steve Antony shares four simple tools for reading aloud to children: repetition, rhythm, pause, and pictures. Drawing on his own picture books and childhood memories of libraries in New Mexico, he shows how reading aloud can become a shared, playful experience rather than a test of reading skill.<\/p>\n
