Kuudes kerros has created a spatial and visual concept for Helsinki City Library, and also redesigned customer service. The aim was to improve service quality, the interaction between staff and customers and the customer&#8217;s experience.<\/p>\n<p>Jari Danielsson, CEO of Kuudes kerros, compared libraries to private sector companies like Starbucks, banks and film theatres and stated: &#8217;We do not consume &#8217;public services&#8217; with a different attitude. Our expectations are the same. If libraries fail to meet these expectations, they will lose their connection with the customers&#8217;.
